As part of his press efforts accompanying the release of his new movie “No Strings Attached,” Ashton Kutcher took time to chat with Redbook for their February 2011 issue.
During the sitdown, the “Punk’d” hunk confessed to having Bieber fever while also reflecting on his own love life, gave his take on “no strings attached” relationships and touched on his real-life love, Demi Moore.
Highlights from the interview are as follows:
On friends with benefits…REDBOOK asks, “Is it easier for guys NOT to let feelings get in the way?”
“I think guys wind up after a while not wanting another guy sleeping with the girl they’re with. But eventually everyone wants something more. We all have that desire for something special, something committed. We all want to be The One.”
Demi +Ashton…friends first?
“No my relationship was a relationship first. Well, there wasn’t anything physical happening for a while, but from the get-go it was more than friendship. It was a deeper connection than that.”
On his two loves: Demi and Twitter…
“Yea I’ve tweeted Demi while I was standing right next to her.”
REDBOOK asks, “Why do guys do things like that?”
“For the same reason we send you roses at the office: because sometimes being publicly adored is nice. It feels good. So that’s why I might be standing right next to her and tweet, ‘My wife looks so amazing tonight.’”

“That kid’s built an empire.”
