Teen pop star Justin Bieber is officially the second most-followed person on Twitter behind Lady Gaga.
The 16-year-old just passed Britney Spears with over 6,500,000 followers, a number that continues to grow by the second, according to Twitaholic.com. He’s still about a million behind Gaga.
As he just tweeted, “my fans are #Badass.” Beliebers don’t play around!
Last year, a Twitter employee claimed the Biebs accounted for three percent of all Twitter traffic, which is just…ridiculous. Also, Klout reports that Justin is more influential than the president and the Dalai Lama. No joke.
